Hi there. I’m Erinn. And since I’m not a fan of small talk, let’s jump right in.
I’m a fiction author and reflective writer, currently pursuing traditional publishing while sharing personal essays and creative work here.
I fell in love with writing in the fourth grade when I learned the rhythm of the five-paragraph essay. I can still smell the recycled paper with the red and blue wide-set lines designed for a kid with an uneasy grip on a number 2 pencil. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked, for better or worse.
I’m blessed to write every day in my perfect-for-me day job, and I started writing novels right after college. Like, immediately after I graduated, when I realized working at an ad agency in NYC wasn’t going to happen in the 2008 market.
Fast forward to the present, and I’m signed with
WordServe Literary agency, and here I am pursuing the winding road of traditional publishing. Oh, if I had a dime (or is it a nickel?) for every time someone asked me “why not self-publish?” I’d be almost rich. But I’ve had my heart set on a dream, and I believe I’m humbly answering a calling—even if that voice sounds muffled, and I question it almost every other week. A calling nonetheless.
